2010 has seen production of our Calla Lilies increase over 50%. We believe that this product offers excellent sales potential both for indoor and outdoor sales. Calla Lily has proved very popular as a wedding flower and from this is know as a prestigious flower and this carries through as a plant.
We have worked very closely with breeders of this plant to develop new and exciting colours.
Calla Lily is the common name for zantedeschia and the word Calla comes from the Greek term for beautiful.
Caring for a calla lily is relatively easy,as it grows in almost any soil. Because the calla lily originates from marshlands one needs to keep the soil damp at all times, but not too damp, as the bulb might rot. Otherwise the calla lily needs little care and can even survive a minor frost.
